Article by Chandler Marquez, Chief Technology Officer
As many of you know, last year we established the first formal technology presence within the Diocese. As part of this effort, we have spent the past year piloting a parish technology support initiative with several parishes. Based on what we have learned through this pilot, we are now ready to welcome additional parishes to participate in this parish initiative.
Recognizing the importance of responsible stewardship and the need to make the most of our resources, we have developed a collaborative support model that combines internal diocesan expertise with the capabilities of trusted industry experts.
Through this model, our Diocesan Technology Support Specialist is available to accompany parishes as they assess, manage, and navigate their technology needs. In addition, our technology partner, Xobee Networks, enables us to extend high-quality technology services and support to parishes. Dell Technologies has also played an important role in helping us keep Diocesan technology devices current through its nonprofit program.
This Informative Session is ideal for:
Any parish employee or volunteer who has an interest in technology
Parishes that are experiencing challenges managing their technology environment
Parishes that recognize a need to assess, update or modernize their technology
No technology expertise is required. Our goal is to accompany, support, and guide you, helping each parish make informed decisions about its technology and ensuring that these resources effectively support the mission.
If you have any questions about the session, please feel free to reach out to me directly or contact our Technology Support Specialist, Patrick Cao, at [email protected].
